Finding the best Pop/Jazz Standard classics to download for free?
I'm looking for "When You Wish Upon A Star" from OST Pinocchio (Disney, ca.1940), but preferrably a more recent remake because I don't really like the original version. My favourite version is Olivia Newton-John's from her 1988 album Warm and Tender, but I lost the CD. Is there any way I can find this song on P2P Networking? (I've looked for it on Limewire, no luck). Otherwise, which other P2P downloadable remakes would be worth listening to? (Preferrably from a contemporary pop/jazz singer or from American Idol if it was ever sung there)
I'm asking this question because I have a voice recital this Sunday and need to study this song fast! If you know where I can download free sheet music for this song that can help me as well (melody only is enough). Thanks a bunch!!
