schecter c-1 hellraiser fr or ibanez s470dxqm?
i want a guitar that has versatility and performance, i like more of the joe satriani music but i want something that can play metal well too. Something tells me that schecter is a better quality but more metal. and of the two i listed, the ibanez is absolutely beautiful. Which is the better buy? music is becoming my pasion and i want something worth buying
The C-1 is an amazing guitar. With the coil splitting you can get some really cool tones out of it too. I love it.
I haven't played that particular Ibanez, but it has HSH so you can probably get as much versatility out of it (if not more). And in general, I've never had any real complaints about ibanez guitars.
They're similar in price, and both highly rated (on musican's friend, and harmony reviews, for example).
So... my short answer is that I don't have an answer 
Go to a store and try them both, and see if one calls to you. If not, flip a coin to decide. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.
