Ambrosia Music

Can someone please suggest artists/songs for this mix cd?

I'm making a mix CD for my boyfriend. We both have the same taste in music, though i'm a little more into the indie and underground stuff than he is. I have 14 songs so far, which include Porcelain by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes (pretty popular, i don't really consider it indie) and lovesong by The Cure. I'm also thinking about including the songs Heartbeats by Jose Gonzales and Honey and the Moon by Joseph Arthur, but i don't know if i will because the lyrics aren't really how i feel about him. ANYWAY, i guess what i'm looking for is music that isn't this poppy We The Kings or Cartel stuff, but more like Joseph Arthur and Iron & Wine. With meaningful lyrics. If you could suggest songs, too, that would be fantastic, that's mostly what I'm looking for. If i could be a little picky, please no songs that are TOO lovey-dovey. they get redundant after awhile. (: but thanks to anyone who answers, it's greatly appreciated!

I absolutely love "Suddenly" by Ryan Fergusen if you are looking for an acoustic song with a great vibe,
"I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab For Cutie (getting more and more popular by the day, but still an excellent song),
"Lyrical Lies" by Cute Is What We Aim For,
"Bang Bang" by Dispatch,
"Powerkiss" by the Katies and "Ruby" by the Kaiser Chiefs feel a little pop/rock-ish but still are pretty Indie and really cute.
