Not Enough Music
Does anyone else think that there is just not enough good music out right now?
I like new music that is exceptionally good. I like alot of differnt types of music. The problem is that I get tired of even the best music after a while, and want to move on to something new. The last thing I really liked was My Chemical Romance's last album, but I have been overplaying that because there is almost nothing else out there that is any better. I like the Used, but I don't care for their latest song - the bird and the worm. Sick Puppies show some promise, but onlly a couple of their songs are any good. System of a Down has some good stuff out, but I have overplayed that and have gotten tired of it.
I like some C & W music, but I haven't heard any decent C & W in a long time.
I have liked pop singers like Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, and Michelle Branch, but Kelly's stuff has been so overplayed, I'm tired of it, and Avril and Michelle have not done anything worth a crap since their first albums, which I have long since tired of.
I think there are some new bands that don't sound anything unique...like they're all wanting to be the same thing after another. And then there are some songs that just suck.
I love Michelle Branch, and was pretty upset that she went to country, especially because I heard rumors that country's an easy way to success in the music industry. =(
You can try Stone Sour or Silversun Pickups. The lead singer of Stone Sour is Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Silversun Pickups is a upcoming band, and that their music is pretty listenable.
