Philharmonia Orchestra Music

What is a good violin solo for an audition orchestra?
So I decided to audition for a youth orchestra group. Am forced to play a minute for a lyrical solo violin. I've been playing the violin for five years and am in Suzuki Book 4. This is music listening that I am required to play: http://www.fsyo.org/docs/2010audition_music/Philharmonia% 2010-11% 20 -% 20Violin.pdf please let me know if you have any idea. Links to music and / or title of the book (Exodus Suzuki Book 5) will be very welcome. Thanks! : D
I looked at the link. Be sure to check the two are excluded with your teacher. While they are well adapted to a Suzuki Book 4 students will have to reckon with the rhythms carefully and know where half your steps when there are 4 flats in the signature [key watch for D-Apartments-A!]. The fact that the second example comes in the third position indicates that it would be desirable, if possible, play something to show his ability in the third position. Due to the limit of one minute, only one page of something that is fine. Have you studied well the movements first or third of Vivaldi Concerto in A minor? Either would be good to polish for the occasion. If you have not reached them, however, then the first page of any of the concerts Seitz in Suzuki Book 4 would also be nice. Whatever you choose, just be sure to prepare carefully so that it relies on hearing. It is best to choose something a little easier and do well, to be prepared with a little more difficult.
