How did African culture influence Blues music?
I need to know how the Africans influenced the Blues music, BEFORE they became slaves
the call and response format often heard in blues where one line is often repeated before a final line is very much in the tradition of music native to the african continent. For example in Robert Johnson's "Crossroads Blues":
