This place used to be called San Loco. I ordered a Vegetarian Burrito with extra avocado. You can get it with beans or rice. They have a sauce called salsa verde which is basically shredded jalapeƱos. The bartender (above), who was very nice and energetic and had no idea I would review the place, warned me that I should be careful and crossed her heart. It had a little kick, but my taste buds must be dead from all the years of eating Haitian Picles and Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Peppers. And the old staple American Tabasco. The tagline on the menu says, "Mild, Hot, Serious or Stupid?" I should have asked for Stupid.
The burrito was good and it was only $3. They obviously have a larger version (which I had last year) and it has a lot more ingredients. Make sure you say, "No sour cream or cheese." Ask for the Veg Chili Loco sauce in whatever you choose.
Everything is made from scratch. The place was filled with people on a Friday night. It's dark and cozy in there. You feel like you are in a secret little hiding spot just for locals and people in the know, like me.
They also have Vegetarian Nachos, Tacos, Taco Burgers, Taco Salad and Enchiladas.
Check it out! =)

Sadly I have to disagree-and I used to love it when it was San Loco (wasn't it called something else as well since San Loco?).
I went to T-Mex on Tuesday night and only the tofu taco, which I ate the next day, was passable. The guacamole was brown and to disguise it's blandness, they dropped a ton of sour cream and a few jalapenos on top. The fish in my fish taco was fried and overly crisp and my friend's burrito was also bland and fell apart in a hurry.
Oh and it was $32 for two people to eat a regular size meal. A taco stand shouldn't cost anywhere near that!
Well, I would not have eaten the fish or sour cream so that's probably why we had a different experience. Avocados are not in season now unfortunately.
Like most restaurants that don't have high traffic, the weekend is best.
Lime on Alton Road has never failed me. I need to eat there at least twice a month and I don't live anywhere near there. =)
