R.I.P. We've lost some Vegan Celebrities
Q: Alright just one more, a little lighter thing. I had heard you are a vegan but I read something saying you went back to fish. What’s up with that?
A: Yeah, I eat fish, man. I needed some protein. I’ve been eating fish for like two years now, two and a half years. It’s great too. I’m glad to be eating it. It was tough being vegan. I salute all vegans and vegetarians.
DREW BARRYMORE
"I still don't eat a ton of meat, and I don't wear a ton of leather," she told imdb.com.
"But I just don't put strict limitations on myself anymore. I don't beat myself up. I didn't wear certain designers because I didn't want any animals to suffer for beauty and stuff, and so I literally was dressed by Old Navy at one point.
"I still shop there, happily. And Urban Outfitters and the Gap - I love those stores. You need basics for stability, but eventually I got tired and wanted to play again. Dressing is like an art form - it's so much fun."
______________________________
This makes me quite sad, but like I've said in the past, if you're vegan because of diet it won't last. If you EVER cared about the safety of animals, you would NEVER return to eating meat. Your conscience wouldn't even allow you to chew an animal, let alone swallow and digest one. Willpower ... it's all about willpower and selflessness. Some people can handle it, others just want blood on their lips. What else is there to say?

Anne Hathaway Turned Off By Meat
FARM LIFE TURNS HATHAWAY OFF MEAT

Actress ANNE HATHAWAY became a strict vegetarian on the Irish set of period movie BECOMING JANE because she couldn't bear to eat meat after watching the birth of lambs at a farm nearby. The Devil Wears Prada star, who plays beloved English writer Jane Austen in the film, rarely eats meat - but life on a farm in Ireland really turned her off. And having fervent vegan James Cromwell as a co-star didn't help either. She says, "I'm a flexatarian which means I eat meat when I feel like I'm going to die or pass out, but I eat mostly vegetarian food. "That being said, we were filming alongside a sheep farm and it was calving season and all these little lambs were going around and were so alive. I'd never eaten lamb but I just couldn't eat any meat while I was making the movie. "James Cromwell was there and he's this hardcore, intimidating vegan, so I especially felt uncomfortable having anything to do with eating animals around him."

Be cool: Change the world, make a profit
Call it a hedge fund with a conscience? Global Cool is using star power and rock concerts to spread its message on global warming — and making a return for its investors. In fact, it's a very serious investment fund, says Martin Waller.
