Arkansas couple welcomes 17th child!

This is the kind of thing that drives an environmentalist INSANE. Sure, the baby is cute and all but what are they thinking. They even want to have more! Now, tell me what they are doing to replenish the resources they are hoarding for the equivalent of 8 2-children families! People with common sense are out there unable to conceive, can't adopt for some dumb reason or can't get married. Nature doesn't make sense sometimes. Not sure why this bothers me so much but it does!!!! All the children's names start with "J", these people's DNA is not very desirable. The kids are sharing their parents at 100 divided by 17 = 6% with an expected shift towards the baby which drops that down to 3%. Selfish!!!! If they had adopted fifteen kids, this world would be a better place. Get a hobby, Damn!!

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - It's a girl — again — for the Duggars. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed their 17th child, and seventh daughter, into the world Thursday.

Jennifer Danielle was born at 10:01 a.m. at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark., the Duggars said in an interview. Jennifer weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and arrived five days after Michelle's due date.

Less than 30 minutes after giving birth, the Duggars already were talking of having more.

"We'd love to have more," Michelle said, adding that the girls are outnumbered seven to 10 in the family. "We love the ruffles and lace."

Jennifer joins the fast-growing Duggar brood, who live in Tontitown in a 7,000-square-foot home. All the children — whose names start with the letter J — are home-schooled.

Overpopulation & Childbirth

This is my personal opinion. Ways to offset overpopulation:
  1. Recycle newspaper, plastics, cans, bottles, electronics. Less production of non-recyclable materials means less landfill usage. More children means more waste products.
  2. Have 2 children or less. Adopt in the future. There are hundreds of thousands of orphans over the age of 2 that need homes. You will love them just as much as your own.
  3. Feed yourself and your baby a plant-based diet. Eating this way reduces the number of livestock reproduction, therefore reducing carbon-emitting animal waste and reduction of water usage to maintain these animals before slaughter.
  4. Donate food, clothing, books, shoes, working electronics to charity. Less clutter in your home means you can buy a smaller home, which uses less energy and saves money.
  5. Use birth control, date less, dress conservatively, stay home more. Unplanned pregnancy is due to reckless behavior, boredom, lack of sex education, peer pressure and alcohol.
  6. Don't wear wool, leather, or any animal products. If we don't buy these products they disappear from the market. These products promote the livestock trade which is polluting our air and killing us slowly through cancer, obesity and a series of other health problems. Support the growing vegan fashion industry.
  7. Conserve water, energy, gas, and food (eat less). More children means more use of natural resources. There isn't enough to go around for your children's children.
  8. Car pool, drive less, ride bikes, roller skate, run, walk, exercise, yoga. More children means more emissions, more cars and air pollution. Doing activities with your children keeps them out of gangs, bad friendships and looking for love in the wrong places.
  9. Watch less TV, read more, support positive local musicians, and vegan restaurants. The airwaves are filled with the promotion of sex, drugs, alcohol and diversions from education. Dumbed down kids make dumbed down adults. Local musicians need your support more than the mainstream artists, which are commercialized and have no remorse for the suggestive lyrics or their consequences. Local groups are usually trying to make an honest living, and have been ignored by the giants who only sign acts who can be sold to the lower-educated masses.
  10. Use cloth diapers, eco-friendly products, buy less stuff. Less stuff means more money to support the kids you have, which means less welfare, less homelessness, less stress, more retirement money, more security in everyone's future.
If every person limited themselves to just 2 children or less, adopted at least one child, the world would not be overpopulated and we'd have more resources. The poor unplanned children would finally have a home, which means less mental illness, depression and crime. The formula I created is this. 10 children means parental attention is spread to 10% per child. 3 children means 33.33%. 2 children means 50% and 1 child means 100%. Which is why I believe having more than two children causes resentment amongst siblings and creates stress for parents, because this shifts in favor of newborns. Example, 2 children 25% each, newborn 50%.

Adopting a child brings good karma and reduces the population. More birth control reduces the number of children to be adopted. Unadopted children suffer greatly and need a family. Foster care is not always a safe environment.

Hope this doesn't offend anyone ... but ... gotta be said. ;-)
