Rumi - I've Fallen in love w/a poet
Rumi. I don't really read poetry, I just write it. I don't really read books to the end, but I write them. Getting confused, lost, uninspired and disappointed turns me off from most things I read. Most likely, if its short I'll love it. If it's long, I won't finish it and usually give it away. If there is too much going on, I'll become lost and confused. If the writer or poet gives up, I can sense it and get uninspired and disappointed. If it's perfect, I'll probably put it here. This is perfect but most of what I've read is perfect. Of course, the long ones are untouched. Enjoy:
Art as Flirtation and Surrender
In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art.

Poem of the Day - From Me ?!?
![]() Going Nowhere When can love begin A year, a month, when What do you still need Money, women, gin Time is not our friend Just give me a sign 'Cuz when the tide Brings me a love I'll finally stop lookin' For you to make A single move What is it Going to take A lightning bolt? A shooting star? By then, might be too late! --i. ambrosia This is dedicated to men who already know who the love of their life is, but they waste their time, shopping around for something else. If you feel it's right go for it, otherwise, you'll be running in circles. [Photo] |

Poem of the day #3
Humming Bean
http://www.learnfly.com/
Portland, OR
ruby
rubies are flowers that have been
crushed under the soil for a thousand years
i name my first child ruby
because i believe in a thousand lives for every flower
because i look forward to the density of time laying on me
and the transition into pure preciousness

Poem of the day #2
wings clipped
caged
so they can't fly
away
locked in a cage
like they're not real
like they don't even deserve
their own life
they'll go mad
no windows
to give them light
and there's a smell of death
it's not really that clean
and you call it an egg?
you call it an egg?
